I'm only 20 and I went to the doctor last summer because I felt a small lump, maybe more like a tiny rubber ball, at the top of my left testicle. I can never really tell if its connected or not to the testicle. When I feel it it doesn't really move, but then again it feels like it lays on top. Like a docking ship. it's neither hard or soft. But, slightly firm. It's March of this year and it's still there. Probably 8 or 9 months later. I don't think it got any bigger, maybe a little. The doctor said it was an epidemical cyst last summer. But can they just stick around for a while? Like for months or years? is that normal?
The doctor said if it was cancer it would feel like a knuckle. And it's not as hard as that. I'm not too worried, but just was wondering if they could stick around for a while.
