Today my period is currently only two days late. My fiance and I are trying to conceive. I figured being two days late, enough time had passed in order to test. I have had some cramping and sore breasts but no symptoms otherwise. I picked up a 4 dollar equate hpt this evening and took the test. Within the time limit, I there was a light pink horizontal line( the line that would be a negative) and there was also a vertical line. The vertical line was colorless almost and when held under the light, the light seemed to reflect off of the vertical line. I am not sure if this is a positive result or not since the equate brand produces such light colored lines. So I am asking, could this have been a true plus sign or was the vertical, colorless line just a ghost line? I also would like 2 add, I examined the test before I took it and there was no line present where this vertical line appeared. Any ideas?

It is a little too early for you to tell that you're pregnant yet. You usually have to wait up to two weeks before you can even have a positive result yet. I think tha tit would be a good idea for you to wait just a bit more (I know, I'm sure you're impatient!) before you are able to find out if you're pregnant or not yet. Please keep us posted on what you find out.
