When I was a teenager, I started having some of the exact same symptoms. Repeated fainting is very serious. Consider getting a tilt table test done. Now I am 26 and have been diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. It's a condition that affects the autonomic nervous system, which controls everything that you can't - breathing, heart rate, digestion, etc. Commonly, those with POTS will have a heart rate increase of over 30 upon standing. 20-30% actually faint, I'm in that group. I also faint when standing too long, can take only 1 minute. Sometimes I become weak when eating. Vanderbilt Autonomic Dysfunction Clinic specializes in POTS and other fainting conditions. They were the only ones that were able to help me. Best of luck.

Hi I'm 13 years old and suffer from the exact same things, only it happens every Monday morning. I am currently a strict vegetarian who is doing 4 hours of exercise a day at boarding school. I am told to tell the nurse every time it happens, however she regards it as a way to get out classes. Would love to know how to fix it but so glad to know I'm not alone :) thanks

has your daughter ever had the HPV vaccine?? Our daughter has these same issues following just 2 of the 3 injections. She's lost all feeling in her lower legs and we can't leave her alone due to passing out/loss of vision, speech, hearing for as long as two hours. Her vision is very blurred all of the time now.. Has a diagnosis of seizures - many do not appear to cause convulsions. She's very sensitive to light now as well.

Yes, this was ruled out early on. Her MRI's are quite typical save for a small lesion on the frontal lobe (left side?). She is now in her twenties with not much improvement. We have begun basic vitamin/mineral IV therapy as no medication has helped to date. Since this is a natural remedy, we're hoping it works. We have been told she needs an MEG test, but none of her doctors are willing to send her out of state for this scan. Thanks!

Chiari malformation is one of the first tests performed - negative. Only a small lesion on her frontal lobe was discovered about three years later. Since it is small it was ruled out as being anything important. She is now taking IV therapy (vitamins/minerals), to see if this will help.
Thanks

My family is having the same symptom as many have posted here.  We came to the conclusion that it is the house that is making us sick.  We had air analysis done and it came back to many small particles that are we are breathing in and damaging our lungs.  This is the reason we have flu like symptoms including headaches, runny nose body aches.  We left the home and realized that we still had all these symptoms, but after a few weeks out of the house the symptoms started to disapear.  I still have swollen lympth nodes in my chest and lungs, but are going away little by little.  Many people have no clue about his but its happening to many people.  I thought i would just spread the word.

Sounds like a vasovagel event.. Migraines cause this as well. This could be POTS. Has she recently had any HPV vaccines?

Gardasil is an unnecessary vaccination. It doesn't protect against the most prevalent form of cervical cancer. In fact, it does little to protect. Unless you are at risk, I would strongly avoid vaccinating our children any more than they already are.

I had this this morning, I was standing at the bus stop. I suddenly felt odd and as if I was about to throw up, I quickly became very cold, sweating and almost lost my vision. My vision went to about 30% of normal and I couldn't hear the same as if my ears had popped.

I didn't faint but I think that's only due to the fact that I sat down. The bus came about a minute after I sat down and I had the same symptoms when I stood up to get on the bus.

Happened almost straight away after having a cigarette but I have never had this before. Not sure if the cigarette is related to the issue.

I have had similiar symptoms....not as bad as hers. My arms and legs will go limp, sometimes see stars, must lie down for a while to get over it. I have a problem with my blood pressure crashing and they don't know why....I know my adrenals have something to do with it. I was told by my specialist to stay hydrated and eat salty foods, or put salt in your water and sip throughout day. I had a lot of these symptoms when I was pregnant, so I believe hormones have something to do with it. I reccomend seeing an edocrinologist to check hormone levels thruout systems. Adrenals, ovaries, pituitary, etc. I carry a wrist worn blood pressure monitor with me and keep check all day on my levels..
Hope this helps.
