Recently I've experienced something strange and scary while eating in the morning. I was half way done with my breakfast when I felt a sharp pain in my left side. I started to feel weird and my heart started to beat really fast and my hands got really sweaty. My left arm felt really heavy as if all the vains going to explode. I got blurry vision and was short on breath. I freaked out and stood up to go get some water. I walked to get some water and get outside for some fresh breath. The feeling went away but my left hand still felt heavy.
I called my brother and asked him to drive me to the ER. They put me in the room and did EKG and took my blood. Did a urine test and did an Xray. They checked my blood sugar level and everything. 4 hours later they came back to tell me that everything was fine with me.
Doctor said that looking at my EKG i might have an extra artery in my heart a very small one that circulates blood or something. I really did not understand what that meant. I didnt bother listening because he said not to worry about it its no big deal. I took the rest of the day off and went home to rest. Took long nap had some food and enjoyed rest of the day.
From that day on everything changed in my life. I quit smoking cold turkey. Its been 21 days now. I stopped drinking soda. I drink only water and 100% juices and I even signed up for gym and go there regularly.
Today I was eating subway and started feeling similar but very mild. Got a little dizzy and short of breath. They it went away. Later the day I was eating a slice of pizza (cheese slice) and I started to feel heart beat increasing. I got same feeling as first time only no pain in my heart and not as severe. I went outside and walked around for a little bit and everything was fine.
I've been all over interned researching what could this possibly be and so far: Hypoglycemia, Hyperglycemia, Diabetes, Anxiety Attacks, Hypertension, Body withdraw from not smoking...
Any suggestions or advice would be highly appreciated.
