I had a fibroid that was the size of a canolope and it have been in me for 20 years and am perimenoposal now and my gyn told me that I needed to have a hystorectomy, so I ask him was there any other ways to remove other then surgery and he yes Fibroid Embolization but I would half to be a canadate so he sent me to another hospital to see if I would be a canidate and I was. So I had the Fibroid Embolization done and next day I had a fever of a 103.1.

What I would like to know have anyone out there every had this proceedure and if so what was the out come?
