I am biting my fingernails alot, I know it's disgusting. But yesterday a fingernail got stuck behind my left tonsil. I can clearly see the lodged fingernail in the mirror, but everytime I try to grab it, I gag and I fail. I've tried to eat bread, rice, drink alot of water and all that, but nothing has helped me so far. The pointy end of the chewed nail has pierced its way through my hard palate and is lodged there. I'm desperate. I haven't gotten any sleep and I need help as fast as possible. What do you recommend me to do?
