Sometimes when all the stool is not flushed, and I go back to the toilet.. the bulk of the stool is still floating. On the bottom of the toilet bowl is a fairly large amount of 'grit', similar in appearance to coars ground pepper. I often have constipation and nausea. Can anyone shed some information on this? PLEASE

Hi Guest,
I am a person with a gastrointestinal disease/autoimmune disease called Celaic disease. One of my symptoms is loose, floating, mucous type stools.
Whenever there is the presence of these type of stools you need to be seen by a gastro doctor as this is a symptom of some type of 'something' going on in your bowels. They are not healthy poops and your body is letting you know this.
I can't say what type of problem you may have as there is a multitude of problems that can arise from your bowels. Make an appointment.
Hope this helps and get the issue resolved

Let me know you get on with your appointments. It took a few years to get a final diagnosis so hang in there you are in for a long road. But, there is an end.
