I have had a very fowl vaginal odor for about 3-4 months now. It's more potent with my period but continues all the time. The smell is a combination of bad blood, urine, poop, or fish. I can't quite make it out but it grosses me out. I haven't had sex in over 3 months because this just makes it worse. Could I have something rotten in side of me? Or could I have some sort of gynecological problem. I've had ultrasounds and nothing has come from them. I'm scheduled next for a culture but would like to be prepared for anything that might result from that test. What is a culture and what can be found from that culture? Why might I be smelling putrid?
