Hi, I am pregnant with my 3rd and I am only 5 weeks along. Is it just me or am I gaining weight already? You see I was 129 lbs about 2 weeks ago and now I cannot fit into my size 6 clothing. I was at the Dr two weeks ago and they said 129 lbs and then a week later they said 132 lbs. and now one week from that I cannot fit into my jeans. Any of them. I do not have a scale (thankfully) but I cannot help but notice NONE of my jeans fit me anymore and my bras are getting tight.
I had a very hard time losing 70 lbs after my second was born just 13 months after my 1st. Now I am freaking out because even thought the pregnancy is welcomed and planned I dont want to be that big again!! What can I do. I will call my OB but like I said I am freaking out about this.
Thanks for you time

Talk to your doc but before you do that you should organize your meals. Eat 5-6 small meals, just like you would when dieting. Don't starve, eat everything recommended in pregnancy, fruits, veggies, chicken and young, non greasy beef and non-greasy fish, one half of liter of diary products, 2 eggs a day, etc
Avoid chocolate and other sweets, pork, ham, sausages, hot dogs, bacon and stuff like that, greasy and spicy food, sweet fruits and bananas.
Go for regular walks and drink a lot of water, at least 6 glasses.
This is a regular guideline for any pregnant women and I'm sure it will prevent you from piling unnecessary pounds.
Good luck!
