So i am on day 8 of herbal life. The first 3 days i lost 3 lbs so you can imagine my excitement. Day 7 of weigh in i gained 1 lb. I am trying to not get discouraged. My usual day consist of my morning shake, lunch shake and a small dinner. I am snacking on low fat string cheese, fruit, hard boiled eggs and activia yogurt. I have been drinking 6-8 glasses of water with crystal light. I have cut my crabs a .lt and if i do have crabs for dinner it's a very small portion. I've been working out every day. My inches have been dropping slowly. Is it common for your weight to fluctuate up and down or should i be continuously losing weight at every weigh in? On a good note i have more energy, eating better and i notice small changes in my body.

Hi, its always a good sign if you want to get in shape and i think you are doing an excellent work. Loosing weight is not an easy thing to do and according to doctors you should not loose more than 10 pounds a month. But to answer your question, yes i think its normal to have fluctuations like you are having. It is not normal to constantly loose weight at every weigh in. Because you could be skinnier but your scale tells you differently. I mean, if you lets say, drink 5 glasses of water and you had two meals and you didnt go to a bathroom your scale might be telling you that you gained 3 pounds but that's not weight, that might be water weight and other stuff, you know. So the best way for you to check if you lost any weight is by your clothes (try wearing pants you wore before and see how they fit now) and you should weigh your self only once per month. Keep up the good work.
