I had my gall bladder out and I successfully lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time. I lost 50 pounds in about 3 or 4 months on the Extreme Fat Smash diet. It is an awesome diet. It is fruits and veggies and yogurt and all good things for you. There are about 3 or 4 phases to the diet so your body doesn't get used to what you are eating and when you lose the weight you want to, there is a maintenance phase to keep you on track and not gain the weight back.

Has anyone ever not been hospitalized for severe gal bladder pain. I have a co worker who claims she has to have surgery for it. But i don't believe her. Because i know they would have her in the hospital right now. I think she is using it for an excuse to play hooky from work.

So i'm looking for answers to prove her wrong. I know what gall blander problems are. I've dealt wuth them for year. But has the treatment changed :PCode:

I have had my gall bladder removed, its almost two years ago now but it took five ambulance trips to A & E over a period of a few months and a few years ago it would have probably meant staying in hospital for surgery on the first diagnosis but due to 'Patients Choice' I had to go home and await paperwork offering me three hospitals ! This was not only agonizing but certainly not cost effective for the NHS. It sounds like your colleague is telling the truth. Believe me it is really awful, at one time when my husband drove me to hospital I lay on the floor begging for pain relief, at least with the ambulance morphine was administered immediately, it didn/t take the pain away but made it seem further away. I too get bloated and lost of unexplained pains around that area so this forum has been very helpful.
