I just had my Gallbladder out Laproscopically a little over a week ago but have been fighting the Gallbladder stomachache for over a year and a half. It was definately time to get it out! I have to tell you that I am also adrenal insufficient as well which inhibits me from healing as quickly as the normal person. Anyways, the first few days were fine...I could eat pretty much anything but was put on a low fat diet for two weeks which I have stuck to. After about three days things started to change. Everything makes me nauseas, if I ate something. Two days ago and I was fine with it then, I would eat it again and it would send me into horrible stomach cramps and bad diarrhea that was like battery acid. The doctor put me on Pepcid which seems to work some days and some days I am on the floor in pain. What do I do? Has anyone ever experienced this before? I thought the surgery would be done and all this pain would be over! Can someone give me some advice please? Thank you in advance.
