Mine is a little bit different. I have DID, disociated identIy disorder .....many I have multiple personality disorder. ...whatever you want to call it.....Mine alters like to talk to me in dreams however when they do it feels like my brain has been electricuted. So when I talk about alters, I mean people purposely fragmented my personality. ....so I would be broken. ....kinda like a broken mirror. So like alters are located on different sections of my brain ....kinda like different computers servers Right? So they each hold different beliefs, emotions, and memories .....I tried to intergate....it doesn't appear to be working. Anyhoo, they like to introduce themselves in dreams, like they downloading what they want to say to me on my server from their severyday right? Anyhoo, when I wake up it feels like my brain as well as my body feels like it's been electricuted. ....like my body is vibrating. So since these people used trauma to fragment my personality.....I, the host of the system, don't have access to their, my alters, memories right? Like it broke the neurons that lead to that section of the brain right, so oops is that why I feel like I have been electricuted when they try to talk to me in my dreams? I don't have any one to talk to about it. And that's the best way I know how to explain what is going on with me.I'm actually thinuking about taking those brain power supplemento to help rewire the neurons in my brain. Also the people who caused me to have DID, I think mad at me for getting my memories back, so I think they gave me sometime. .....to make it harder for me to get my memories back.Please respond quickly because I don't think I have much time left since I glitchedon't so badly. I’ve experienced these ‘electric shocks’ in my brain since puberty, and they have always been caused by the sight of an extraordinarily beautiful girl’s or woman’s face. The feeling passes after about five to twenty seconds, but the fascination with the face can last decades.
This happens perhaps two or three times a year. I’ve never asked a doctor about this: it isn’t debilitating in any way and I’ve had it for decades without ill-effects.
I do find it odd, as there are no nerves in the brain, so presumably this is a ‘refracted sensation’ analogous to refracted pain. Perhaps it’s just my heart suddenly beating much, much faster.
I’m sure some people will think I’m trivialising an important subject, but I’m being absolutely sincere. Also, my experience fits with the previous post’s observations remarkably well.

I have had that. A GP isn't exactly who you wanna see. Its a neurological issue. Usually it comes from when you been taking medication for awhile or withdraw of anti anxiety medication or some kind of other medication or otc to cope with stress anxiety etc.

I have had that happen to me as well. Now I'm not a medical professional I can only speak by experience. Its your nervous system. I remember right after I was diagnosed with General anxiety panic disorder i had that same thing for about 2 weeks. Don't worry yourself it'll subside. Have you been on any long-term medications and or having alot stress and worry for any length of time?

I've noticed that when my ears get pluged from elevation issues and allergies, or when I get a cold, this happens! I just got home two day ago from the sac vally to my home in far nor cal, my ears plugged up and Even though they have popped, I still have that buzzing feeling in my brain! I think I have Ménière's disease.
