If I don't find solution for this would be divorced woman. I don't know what is happening to me. I am nervous all the time, irritable and edgy. My husband can't stand this anymore. I fully understand him because I am not that kind of a person. Is this happening to me because I have Grave's disease?

If you are sure and properly diagnosed with Grave's disease, it is very possible that your behavior has lot to do with it. If you are not sure, you should ask your doctor. But, the other thing is bothering me. You already know about your disease, how come that you are not aware of all the symptoms? Your husband knows about all this too, how come that he is not more supportive with you. Maybe your disease is not a problem. It could be something else.

I must say that I am completely agreed with maggee. How come your husband isn’t more supportive? After all if you are aware that you are sick how come he is not helping you to overcome this? Is he aware that the symptoms of Grave’s disease usually are: anxiety, irritability, difficulty sleeping, fatigue, irregular heartbeat, sensitivity to heat, weight loss and some others which are not easy to live with.

Maybe you should consider visiting your doctor together and you could ask your doctor to explain to your husband what are you going through and that he should be more reasonable and supportive.

During your treatment he should be there for you and I hope that he will understand how much you need him in this moment.
