It won't go away and there is no cure short of dying her hair. If it's not hereditary on your side of the family then it must come from the other side

Nothing turns hair white but the gradual decrease of pigmentation. Special diets, nutritional supplements, vitamins or special proteins will not affect the graying process. Graying, whether it comes with the normal aging process or prematurly, has a genetic basis. Hair turns grey or white when a pigment MELANIN, ceases to be produced in the root, there for the new hair will grow back either grey or white.

Doctors have also begun to notice premature graying could be associated with an autoimmune disorder. HYPERTHYROIDISM, due to GRAVES DISEASE or HYPOTHYROIDISM due to chronic THYROID, also called HOSHIMOTOS disease. Many physicians will order B12 levels as well as a thyroid test in people who are prematurely graying.
