Hello! These are caused primarily by contractions of the muscles of the stomach and small intestine and, to a lesser extent, by contractions of the muscles of the large intestine (colon). But in some cases, excessive gurgling and grumbling may be a sign of an upset stomach or a medical condition like irritable bowel syndrome. Eat many small meals instead of a few large ones. You can try to stay off the chocolate for a while to see if you'll get better. Take care.

Depending on ones diet, especially when more fruits and vegetables are abundant can cause a change in ones digestion. Causing bloating and gas. If tolerated, eating at least 1 GREEK yogurt can assist with regularity of the digestive system. Greek yogurts have probiotics which help regulate digestion. On all diets, all caffeine, energy drinks and diet soda should be avoided if trying to lose weight. A simple alternative is making a large pitcher of SPA water (fresh rosemary, juice of 5 lemons & cucumber slices with 1 QT distilled water). This is great for thirst, weightloss, & headaches, especially when your weening off caffeine withdrawals.
