Previous abdominal surgeries such as C-section can cause scarring or adhesion within the abdominal cavity. Such scarring may reduce the chance of a woman becoming pregnant. It sounds as though the surgeon who removed your gallbladder a year ago had observed, coincidentally, some scarring within your abdominal cavity, and commented about it. It follows that the best person to answer your question would be that surgeon. Write him a letter or drop him a note at the hospital.
