Hi,
I have been feeling unwell for the last three years. I get headaches, blurred vission occasionally, feel sick, anxious and tired. Some days are worse than others. I have been to the doctors on numerous accassions and have had blood tests, an ultrasound on my kidneys. Neck xray.
I have just had a doctors appointment today and he said it may be a neurological problem and said i have just got to fight it.
Just before all this started i did have a very stressfull time, i was in a bit of violent relationship (which i have not told my doctor due to embaressment) and my head got banged and i was also pulled from my legs which resulted in pain at the top of the neck at the time. Do you think this could have caused all this? I just dont know where to turn, there is only so many doctors appointments i can have. If i did injure my head or brain would my brain and body learn to adjust to it in time? Do you think it could be serious even though i have had the symptoms for the last three years? hope there is someone out there who can reassure me x

Hi there,
I am sorry to hear that. I think most importantly you need to get out of this terrible relationship. There is no excuse for violence and no reason for you to be embarrassed. Its not your fault. You are the victim and think you should tell the doctor about what happened! He will organise some tests for you.
All the best.
