I started with a headache this morning, and then when driving home I stopped at a set of lights when my left leg started shaking violently. I was barely able to keep control of the clutch, as the shaking got so bad. I managed to get home safely, but now my hands have started shaking and then I got the chatters off and on in my jaw (as if I was really cold). I'm feeling nauseous and the headache has worsened.

This is not the first time, and I'm concerned as to what could be wrong. The doctors always just say its a flu virus and to get plenty of rest, but I am a 25yo student, planning my wedding, managing a household and trying to work part-time as well!

Any ideas?

Hi there,

I am not sure if the doctors are correct in your case. It seems to me that they don’t want to do their job correctly. In my opinion you don’t have a cold and there is no need for you to ignore this. I would say that you might have issues with your muscles and nerves. The fact that your legs and jaw are shaking all of the sudden doesn’t indicate that you have flu. If this was a flu then you should have phlegm in your throat or you would be coughing. Try to see other doctor and see if you can run some test that will find real reason why this is happening to you.
