Had same thing for a week now. Headache would move to different spots, ear and neck pain, and nausea. Felt like death was coming for me. Seem to be feeling better now. The symptoms are slowly going away. Hopefully will be gone for good.

In western suburb of St. Louis, MO. I have not heard of anyone else having this but I am on day 9, Started out severe head pain on top and back of head. Day 2-3 I could not think straight and thought something was destroying my mind (so weird) On day 4 went to my doctor she thought migraine even though I have never had a migraine other than post surgical. That same day came home and the diarrhea began. I have had some limb weakness, slight sore throat, no congestion and intermittent ear pain. I ended up in ER on day 6 and was told viral cephalgia with dehydration. Sent home after fluids. Still no relief. Had a popping sensation in one side of my head that woke me up yesterday and several bouts of almost passing out. Went for followup with regular doctor. She did a sinus xray, waiting on those results still. This is the worst and longest lasting viral infection I've had. The brain not working correctly is the scariest part to me. I also have had no appetite all week. I force myself to eat but shortly after eating many times I have diarrhea. Some nausea but never have thrown up. My son woke up with severe headache yesterday and still has it today.

I am an OB/GYN with 30 years experience.....Not a primary care physician clearly, but I have done a ton of general care. My daughter has this very syndrome at the moment. A very strange illness indeed. It began with a typical upper respiratory viral syndrome. Mild to moderate sore throat, nasal congestion mild cough etc. Approximately 1 week in, she developed these severe headache bouts. Sometimes behind an eye, sometimes upper forehead and sometimes upper head. Symtoms are constant for hours, she is somewhat photophobic and they are accompanied by nausea to variable degrees. Only partially respond to ibuprofen. We tried sumatriptan /Imitrex suspecting new onset of migraines to no avail. We were initially concerned about encephalitis but the transient nature made that impossible. She has now had the headaches at intervals of 1-5 days for 11 days and they are debilitating to a degree that she has never yet experienced yet experienced. No ongoing fever now, throat pain is diminished and she feels fairly well except for the recurring headaches. This is clearly a new syndrome that I have not seen in 30 years but from the postings it seems self limited. I have tried to see quite a bit of the medical research regarding this medical condition and I have not seen that it has been formally described thus far in the literature.

On day 11 of this horrible headache virus. Still headache is there but slightly better. Only needing to take ibuprofen instead of Tramadol and it is tolerable. This morning woke up with some sinus pressure and had blood when I blew my nose. Have not had sinus complications with this infection. One side of my throat is swollen and red though. My son is following the same path with this virus. He only had diarrhea with it for a day though, I had that for a few days. He never lost his appetite either. He is on day 6 now. He and I both have had strange dreams with this virus, I guess from the head involvement. I think I am getting better but still unable to go to work. I will have missed 2 weeks of work after today. Unheard of but it is that disabling. I will get my flu shot next year, did not get it this year.

Also forgot to mention the worst case of dry mouth ever. Had trouble sleeping some nights because my mouth was so dry no matter how much I drank. My son has this too.

I have been having all of these symptoms as well. I thought it was vertigo so I went to the pharmacist and both the pharmacist and store clerk said they just went through the same thing. Headache, dizziness (but not severe dizziness just continous), pain behind the eyes, etc. I was headed to an Urgi-Care center on Saturday, but they both had gone to the ER and received CT scans and MRI's and blood tests that came back negative. Both their symptoms went away after 3-4 weeks. I am going on week 3 now so hoping it will go away this or next week.

They recommended I take a motion sickness medication - Meclizine HCI 25 MG. Unfortunately it makes me tired, but the dizziness is extremely lessened by this as are the headaches. I stare at a computer all day for 8 hours at my job so the pain in the eyes and the dizziness is very difficult for me, but I am at least now able to get through the days. Good luck everyone.

Karen C. I have had same thing since last Thursday. Thought I was getting better this morning and then mid morning my headache was full on and more nausea and finally vomiting. Just started that today . My granddaughter had it last week and she was at our house the day she came down with it. It is a strain of the flu.

I've had headaches for the last two weeks almost every day. I think there is a virus going around that causes headache's. I wouldn't expose your child to any other children.

I've had on and off symptoms of this since 2/5/17, it is now 4/11/17 and still no clue what it is. Initially diagnosed as a sinus infection and then sought a nuerologist. Nosebleeds, splitting headaches, feeling of impending doom, and feeling really out of it, sortof like you're really intoxicated and unable to really focus. The head pain doesn't go away but just gets less bad during the day and worse at night. Hopefully this passes soon, hope you all feel better

I've had these symptoms, headache, horrible cough and runny nose, not to mention extreme fatigue and low fever on and off for 26 days now. I've went to 2 doctors and both said " there's a virus going around and they're calling it the coughing virus" , i do not know what that means...all i know is i feel like absolute c**p and it does not seem to be getting better. The headache alone is bad enough, then the constant coughing that Wakes me up, makes my head hurt worse and lack of sleep. I dont know if this helps anyone...but if anyone can tell me what can make me feel better, I would be more than grateful.

I've been sick for 26 days and no sign of feeling any better. I'm wore out and now crying because im lost...this is literally making me feel like death. I was just told an hour ago that this can last up to 6 to 8 weeks. I don't know how i can do another month and 1/2 of this. Seems to be no cure and nothing to help fight it. I thought I was the only one out there that had this.
