Hi, im barely just 3 months post op, started therapy and have been really frustrated even bummed out quite a bit. I was always so active and its frustrating. PT is something I looked forward to, it helped but now things inside have tightened up. I do have a good therapist, he knows shoulders. I was told that snap crackle pop was normal as well... I was put on heat, now it's alternated. I can't have NSAIDS of any kind,
You mentioned Frozen Shoulder, how did you find out because mine is SO tight and painful I wonder. Therapy days wear me out, I PUSH it as far as I can, little more each time and my arm starts having spasms really bad. Since my bicep was reattached that doesn't help in the pain dept. No sleep at nights, it's 24 hours of mini naps.. Im in tears by the time PT is done and im not the wimpy kind. How do you manage now Nitasong ?

I am also in the same situation. I had a bankart repair done on March 15, 2013 and now four months later I only have about 50% of my motion back. I was in a sling for 4 weeks without any movement - no pendulum exercise or anything (per doctors request).
When I finally got my sling taken off my arm was so stiff it was unbelievable. Started PT on April 16th and I am still going twice a week and doing exercises at home. I am starting to get a little aggravated with the whole situation because I cant seem to find answers on how to fix this. My PT brought up getting a manipulation done (who advised me when I started going to her I shouldn't get this done) she is now persuading me to get this performed. I have been reading about this and it just seems awful!
I keep getting mixed information from both my Doctor and my PT and am getting really frustrated. I was told that I have scar tissue build up that is making me have limited mobility, which could be to me being in a sling for so long with no movement. Per my doctor this how he has always performed this surgery and it has worked on all of his other patients - excluding me of course. As for my physical therapist - lately I just feel like she has been giving up and that discourages me immensely.
I am 26 years old and very active. Didnt really expect this to happen but it did. So now I have to figure out how to get my shoulder back to normal.
Have any of you figured out any solutions to this? I am just looking for guidance and trying to keep positive about the whole situation. Would a manipulation be worth it? Or should I just stick to PT.

I had a Bankart fracture of my right shoulder in April. I am three months out and still have pain, especially at night. My arm position wakes me up every few hours. It is a really frustrating fracture....Any help would be appreciated.
