There are several tests for hepatitis B. You may have tested positive for one or more of the followings:
1. hepatitis B surface antibody: You have been exposed to the hepatitis B virus (HBV) either as an active infection, or as a result of vaccination, when HBV surface antigen is introduced. Your immune system is functionally properly, and offers immunity to further HBV infection.
2. hepatitis B surface antigen: HBV viral particles are present. This test detects early infection where symptoms have not yet appeared.
3. hepatitis B e-antigen indicates rapid replication of the virus in the body. Infectivity is high.
4. hepatitis B e-antibody is produced in response to early acute infection. The antibody persists during remission, as well as after elimination of the virus.
5. hepatitis B core antibody is produced in response to the exposed viral nuclear materials which are released following the lysis(death) of the viral particles. This is a measure of successful anti-viral treatment.

Additionally, the COBAS TaqMan HBV test amplifies sections of viral DNA from serum or plasma using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to estimate the number of viral particles present in the blood. Negative range means that viral particles are undetectable. This test is used as a measure of treatment success.

Your doctor has a duty to explain your test results to you.

I was diagnosed with Hepatitis B four years ago. For over two years, I relied on antiviral medication and routine monitoring, but unfortunately, my symptoms and liver-related concerns continued to worry me. My energy levels dropped, and I often felt unwell and anxious about my health.

Last year, hoping for additional support, I decided to try a herbal treatment program from NaturePath Herbal Clinic. Honestly, I was skeptical at first, but within a few months, I began to feel some changes. My fatigue lessened, my digestion felt better, and overall I felt more balanced and healthier. I also regained much of my energy and confidence. It’s been a meaningful experience, and I feel more like myself again. If you or a loved one is dealing with Hepatitis B, you might consider exploring complementary approaches that feel right for you. This was simply my personal experience. You can visit their website or contact them at www.naturepathherbalclinic.com , info@naturepathherbalclinic.com
