I found out that heroin was synthesized from morphine, which is naturally substance of poppy plants. I know it was used as pain remedy and commercially marketed. But I don’t know why it came, when heroin is highly addictive drug. Isn’t oxycodone used the same way, but maybe is a little bit better? Why everyone doesn’t stop use this drug that is considered the most abused and start with oxycodone?

i can tell anyone who wants to know that oxycontin and heroin are much more similar than oxycontin and morphine. ive done all three in every manner possible, and seriously, the similarities between oxy' and street heroin are a little scary. you can take an 80 mg oxycontin pill, throw it on a piece of tin foil and smoke it just like heroin. when you do this it smells EXACTLY like heroin and tastes the same too. also, when you cook an oxycontin pill and doink it, the rush and high are identical to heroin. i was amazed at this, because heroin is diacetyl morphine, very similar to morphine sulfate chemically, but the effects of shooting morphine sulfate (ms contin) are nothing like those of shooting heroin.

Compared to Heroin, Oxy has very little rush when injected at least for daily users. The best combination of pharms to mimic a Heroin high is say an 8mg Dilaudid with 30 mgs of Oxycodone. Since Dilaudid produces a great rush but doesn't produce a very good high and Oxycodone gives a decent nod but not much of a rush. Heroin gives both a goods rush and leaves you nodding out for a while.

You are a little off in your statements. You are saying that oxycodone gives a steady 12-hour release and has fewer side effects, and only when crushed, chewed, snorted, injected, etc, then it would give a quick high. oxyCONTIN is what gives the steady 12 hour released. CONTIN stands for Continuous, oxy stands for oxycodone. Oxycodone is the drug name. The oxycontin brand is what gives it a sustained slow release. Oxycodone itself is just like the other opiates, which would be absorbed immediately and lasting a few hours. You seemed confused about the difference, and I don't want others to be confused about that as well.

Oxycodone will only last three to four hours, I believe you're confusing oxycodone with oxycontin, which is a twelve hour time release drug.

The OxyContin OC not new OP are much better than plain oxycodone or Percocet. All three have oxycodone in it but the old OxyContin treated the pain much better probably bc it is more pure than Percocet or even plain oxycodone. It's might be like heroin but it's not heroin.

lol oxycodone and oxycotin are not the same thing. pretty close i see what your saying they do containe both oxycodone but the oxycodone pills contain also tylanal amd depending on the mg somtimes other things. oxycotin is just pure oxy.
