Been there done that! If he is going to push you aside than he's not worth it. I lost my virginity to a guy with a girlfriend and thought for sure he loved me (like he said) and that he would soon break up with his girlfriend for me. NOT THE CASE!!! I went along with him like this for about a year but then one day noticed in the mirror how i'm much better than him.
