:-D YAY.... well i went to my appoitment this morning and was going back and forth trying to figure out a way to tell the doc i am addicted to lortab. i took your advice ali1982 and a few others & just came out & told him what was going on. i began to tear up and the first thing he said was, "dont cry, i see hundreds of patients every week who are addicted to opiates too." He said," it is a medical condition requiring medical treatment." i was so relieved to see he cared and wanted to help me. i asked him a few questions about how it all works and i have to go back tomorrow to do all my paperwork and get started on this so i can be FREE.... its not cheap, but cheaper than buying this sh*t off the street. i started to worry when he said my insurance wont cover the consultation appointments & i need to bring $250 with me tomorrow when i come. he started to head towards the door, but then i stopped him and asked if he could do anything to help me get through the day until i get my RX tomorrow , and out of the kindness of his heart, he said, " i can give you one suboxone," and he pulled it right out of his pocket,. he told me to put it under my tounge then says," tastes like sh*t, huh?" i said anything is better than being addicted to opiates. and LET ME TELL YOU, it IS a miracle drug, so far.... my withdraws seem as if they have lifted, but this is TRULY the VERY 1st day for me to be lortab free..... but at least that part is over and i have help, THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO RESPONDED AND GAVE ME SOME ADVICE, especially YOU, Ali1982..... so, i dont know if anyone gives a damn, but i am gonna post something everyday about my recovery with the hope that i can help another, thats how you stay clean :-) LOL PEOPLES :-P
