Its always a good idea to get a doctors diagnosis. That should be your first step! Even ask the ER: What is wrong with my mother?
High blood pressure is usually caused by the following things:
- Obesity
- Lack of sleep
- High sugar/glucose intake
- Dysfuction or minimal realease of insulin
- Diabeties (Is there history in your family?)
If this has only started reacently she could have something as simple as "vertigo".
You say your mother is "healthy". While being the correct weight is nice, it may not be the full story. Take note of how she sleeps and what she eats.
There is not much you can do but ask. Tell a doctor. What does he say? Because, in the end his opinion is most valuable.
