i am winnie,24,,,we have had problems with my boyfriend in getting a child,,,we have been doing sex(unprotected) almost every night with my bf since when we decided to live together(2011).my guy ejaculates,erects and performs very nicely in bed,but his semen is always sticky n colourless like a super glue,,but am told a normal sperm n semen color is whittish n milky,,,,could this be the problem?i also get my monthly periods n i do have lots of orgasm especially when he is about to perform,,,could i have some problems also??

Hi Winnie,
Semen color varies from clear, to white, even yellow and brown. You can not tell his fertility by appearance alone. Consistency also varies greatly from very watery to thick, sometimes there are even jelly like clumps in it.
If you have been trying for more than a year you BOTH need to see a fertility specialist for an evaluation. You can expect a full physical and internal exam with blood work. He can also expect a semen analysis.
