I have to say that I have suffered from this for nearly my whole life. After seeing this thread I started taking phosphatidyl serine. It has been a miracle for me. I take two 100mg capsules at bed and it stops what you described in its tracks plus i sleep better. One night i took the wrong pills by mistake. I woke up trembling. I probably would have had a hard time writing my name. This proved to me that it wasn't the placebo effect and is the real deal. 38years I had this morning anxietand now it is gone!

I'm going through the same thing with horrible morning anxiety. Doctors ran a bunch of tests and say it's psychological. I'm trying to manage with meds because I need to take care of my kids. I'm hoping you can share with me what has helped you.

This is me!!! But mostly at the same time of month. I think it has to do with mentapause. It started when I left my husband after 28 years. I hate that feeling of sweating twitching. My dreams have a lot to do with it they are very emotional. Thanks

For the last 6 months I've been waking up with adrenaline rushes, followed by nausea and panic attacks. I've had a 24 hour hiring test and that came back fine with cortisol and metanephrines levels. I have lost over 22 pounds and my quality of life has gone terribly down. I have been diagnosed with panic disorder because when the adrenaline rushes her bad it results into a panic attack. However I am not convinced that these adrenaline surges that I have suffered every morning for the last 7 months is "panic disorder." I desperate. Can someone please help me. Ps; I also have a right sciatic nerve pain that is also consistent.

I have had the same symptoms for about 3 years. It usually happens in the early morning and feels like you can't catch your breath. Feels like you are drained but wide awake at the same time. Taking a hot bath seems to calm me down. When this happens, my body tenses up and I can't breathe normally and it feels like my heart is going to stop or it is racing, sometimes both.
I've been to the ER many times with EKG, blood tests, urine tests, xrays on my chest, ultrasounds on my kidney and liver. I've also had calcium scoring on my heart because I was worried about a stroke or heart attack, but I had zero calcium. I even had my doctor have me wear a Holter monitor for 3 days to monitor my heart. He dis not see anything abnormal. I've done hair analysis and my Mercury was slightly high so I removed my amalgams. Lithium was also very low and I heard Lithium Orotate helps to increase levels naturally and solve a lot of psychological problems. This has been a long journey to find what's wrong and I've become a supplement junkie with everything from herbs to vitamins to making shakes.

Hi I know it’s been a year since you first posted this about morning anxiety. I have exactly what you are feeling; wake up feeling fine and then all of a sudden you get this adrenaline rush/surges which are later accompanied by a panic or depression. My question is since it’s been a year from this post, did you ever find out what it was?? And if so, what are you doing to alleviate this horrible symptom? Thank you.
