You are right, water is extremely important. We are 60% made of water and it is used to flush toxins out of vital organs, moist environment in ear nose and throat tissues and carry nutrients to cells. If you are exercising you should take additional two or three cups of water for every hour spent exercising. Also if you are sweating more or the weather is hot then you should take additional water. If you don't fell thirsty and if your urine is pale yellow it means that you take enough fluids.
