I have just done a pregnancy test, and it is positive! I am really happy of course, but one of the first things that enters my mind is that I should be really careful about my nutrition. How often should I eat red meat? Because I heard somewhere that this could be harmful in large quantities.

I am a vegetarian, so I am probably not the best person to answer this question but I do think that pregnancy has become far too medicalized. Please feel free to eat as much as you normally do, unless your body or intuition is telling you otherwise. You might want to look into buying organic for your pregnancy though.
