I recently was involved in two car accidents. Since then I have experienced some discomfort after sexual intercourse. My friend suggested that I have my procedure checked since I only had clamps placed on my tubes. Should I be concerned about getting pregnant? Should I bother my doctor and get this checked out?

A tubal occlusion with clamps is the one type of sterilization that fails the most, having them burnt/tied would be much better.

If you are having pain with intercourse, then yes you need to be checked out to see what the reason could be.

I am a 28 year old female, and like so many others I had my tubes tied, nearly 8years now. I began having period symptoms after being 3wks late and pink spotting for a couple of hours. the period cramps continued for 3-4 days with no spotting or period. I have a head ache every day, and generally feel bad and so run down. wounder if i could be pregnant? sounds highly unlikely tho. I usually have no period symptoms before the onset and I am a heavy bleeder, I never spot in the beginning and then not have a period nor do i cramp and then not have one. I feel so stupid getting a pregnancy test considering my tubes are clamped, but not cut tied or burned. Thats why i haven't tested yet, because its so unlikely. I have also been having pain in my upper right rib cage like a brusing with burning pain when i press, may be totally unrelated? every symptom points to pregnancy but im sure thoes symptoms are kinda generic for all kinds of stuff. well, any one with insight let me know. thanx :)
