My grandfather is 77 years old and he suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. The condition is far from the early stage, which means that he is demented from time to time. He cannot take care of himself any more, he wanders from time to time and the only thing he remembers is past long gone. Tell, how can I deal with those wandering situations in dementia?

Alzheimer’s disease is progressive, non curable disease. There are only medications that could ease his suffering and slow down the progression of disease. It is very important for him to drink meds regularly, he should also do some mental exercises, that is more or less the only way you can deal with any situation that happens with Alzheimer’s patients.
