I started to train seriously. I never miss a workout and spend many hours on the bike. It has been almost three weeks since then yet I see no improvement in performance. I am thinking that maybe I am not working out hard enough or as often as I should. What do you think?

I think that it is too early for some significant results. One more thing, if you keep training like this you may not see any results at all. Strong desire and dedication are recommendable but pushing too much will not yield greater results. You have a chance to become over trained. In such case you can even experience a decline in your performance. You have to give your body enough time to rest, recuperate and grow. Be patient. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day. You can’t expect to become a champion in a few weeks.
