I need help. I have been smoking 1-5 bongs during the evenings for about 10 months now. I no longer smoke pot for the enjoyment of it (merely to feel "normal") And I want to stop, but there is something holding me back. For at least the last 2 months I haven't smoked in the day, only after work and before bed, but at around 6pm every night (and at a few points through the day) I get the most uncomfortably ill feeling in my stomach and i feel as though I am about to throw up. This feeling is usually paired with shortness of breath and more often than not, a feeling of being bloated. Although somewhat similar to hunger pains, they can come even after a meal and forcing myself to eat doesn't help. I just need a way to make this stop. It happens every day until I have a bong (at which point it vanishes within a minute or two) and if I go a night without smoking i feel nauseous upon waking and feel as though I'm suffocating in a shower any hotter than luke-warm. I work a full time job on my feet all day in retail so I need a way to stop or at least lessen these stomach pains whilst I quit. It's honestly the only thing that has stopped me quitting.

I´ve been through this during withdrawals when I was tapering off. Domperidone was the only medicine that helped these symptoms but it´s better to stay away of these stomach remedies if you can.

This is classic THC withdrawal in my opinion and THC withdrawals takes months to subside because this substance and many other found in the plant are lipossoluble.

You are doing great smoking only after work. Try to smoke only 3 or 4 times a week when you think you ready for it. There is really no magic to go through this, you are doing the right thing.

Good luck!
