I had a hysterectomy 6 yrs ago but I still have my ovaries. My husband and I usually have intercourse at least 2 times a week. We had started foreplay and moved into masturbation with finger penetration and we had gotten a little rough (nothing we haven't done before) and we were about to move into full penis penetration when my husband noticed I was bleeding. It wasn't flowing but there was a lot more than just a spot. It was bright red. When we went to bed I bled a little more during the night. This is the first time this has ever happened. My husband keeps his nails very well manicured and lubrication is not a problem at all. My husband and I have been having intercourse for over 12 yrs and even before my hysterectomy I never bled during or after intercourse. This is the first time I have bled during and after intercourse since my hysterectomy 6 yrs ago. I would appreciate any information as to what maybe causing this and what I should do. Thank you.

I know you said he is well manicured, but perhaps he cut you but it wasnt painful enough to feel. That skin is very sensitive so perhaps thats why it continued to bleed?

The exact same thing happened to me.The bleeding was really red so it looked like fresh blood rather than mansural bleeding. I am just going to give sex a break for about 2 week so that the injury can heal. Yes I am taking it as an injury at the moment, see what happens. %-)
