Right as my life seemed to be getting better (started school, making good money, ect), I moved in to what I thought was a great little apartment. A friend of mine was moving out and I told her whenever she did that I would love to move into it. Well she told me she had problems with fleas but had gotten rid of them so I didn't think it was a big deal. Moved in and for two months things were great. Went on a trip where I stayed in many different places from hotel rooms to cabins to campers (musician). When I came home from that trip it seemed in just a matter of days I was being awoken by these crawling bugs. They never hurt just annoyed me and started to drive me crazy. I eventually figured they were bed bugs and threw my bed out and got another. Well two days after that these bugs were back. Called the landlady and she sent an exterminator over to see, he said no bed bugs. " You would be able to see them" he told me. Never have seen what is crawling on me. Bought so many things from plastic bags to keep clothes in, bed frame and mattress cover, bed bug powder, ect... It seemed to be working for a while, and then suddenly, they were back. This started in August and it is December now. I had enough! I'm moving out of here and will slowly move in with my mother. I am going to get rid of the new bed, chairs, and other furniture. I am also gonna bug bomb this apartment numerous times while im doing this. Any suggestions on what else I should do? What about my car? I will pack clean clothes and bring them to my mother's house, wash what I have on along with the what I bring and dump boiling water on them to make sure I kill these bastards. Take a steaming hot bath then cover myself with lotion, and I thought about bombing the car that night too. Think this will work? I've had it! This is ruining my life! PLEASE HELP!

I'm not alone? I,ve been treated for both scabies and bed mites, and i'm still not cured. I know they are on my scalp and around my forhead. somtimes they go near my eye-lashes. I can feel them under my skin.

Try the Eradicator spray, it kills bed bugs, dust mites, fruit flies, pinworm eggs and other things. You can get it on Amazon. It takes a while to get, however.

It's not bugs you all its stress. Not eating right, not getting enough sleep and your skin begins to crawl. You feel like bugs are on you. Stop worrying and start getting your sleep . Take your B complex vitamins, a multi, and drink plenty water to flush your system. Do an aerobic exercise. You will stop feeling that sensation

Apparently this problem has a name: "formication". Look it up on Wiki.

I too had/have this problem. What I did was stop taking the med 'Simavastatin', and it's slowly going away. First the rash (4 days)and now less itching.

Examine any meds or drugs you're taking for their side-effects. Best way is to search google but don't stop at one website only, like the manufacturer, as different sites give different side-effects.

Hey you know it could possibly be body lice, a lot of people get body lice when they go to the beach and swallow ocean water, I'm not sure how you can cure it but look into body lice, and see what the web says. I know they live in your body but there very easy to kill.

I have the same sensations on and off for a few years now - tickling, biting, crawling. It seems to be set off particularly when I hear about someone having bugs (lice, bird mites, bed bugs, etc.) and then I begin to have the repeated sensations at all times of the day. I have had loved ones and friends check my scalp repeatedly until they conclude that I am just NUTS! If you don't have any real visible evidence of some kind of bug infestations or parasites, it's probably a condition I just discovered online called "formication or parasitosis" (NOT "forn.." but "form.."). Google it! There are many different causes (drugs, health conditions like hypothyroidism or diabetes, mental issues, and more). Oh, and if you do discover that you have bird mites (you can see them, though they're tiny) try sprinkling diatemaceous earth around, leaving it set a while and then vacuuming. Last year I thought I had bird mites in my house, because a painter removed some bird nests from my eaves and saw the mites - this just sent me into another tizzy of formication/parasitosis. I checked out online, and apparently most exterminators really don't use the right stuff to kill mites. It helps me to keep telling myself that it's all IN my head rather than ON my head!

okay i got the same feeling of bugs crawling everywhere but cant see them. i read everything and cleaned and showered and washed with lice treatment and went to the healthfood store and got tea tree oil and a natural scabies-lice killer. I washed my clothes in hot water and turned up the water heater. I felt better for a couple hours and then i got the feeling again. I went to the doctor and he thought i was going crazy because he couldn't see any rashes or bite marks. Doctor said to take something for stress. Ya i was stressed out by that point but I knew I wasn't crazy. Here is what I have found out so far. I couln't take it before the doctor appointment came along so I sprayed my entire body with deep woods off. Everything I washed after about an hour I would change clothes and shower again and then the trick is to put sheets and pillows and everything you use in a plastic garbage bag and leave it alone for three days. The deep woods off worked. The crawling stopped and it stung a tiny bit where i felt i had a little bite. But relief none the less. Last night i slept and woke up with three places all over again but I am going to hit that with deep woods off and now spray that where i slept and on my entire body again. All else failed but this seems to be working. I read one person said to go to a sporting goods store and get something hunters use for the woods. Thats were I got that idea and I had the off at home. I thing he said permathrin form the sporting goods store. Today I will spray the couch and chair where I have contained myself to with off also. Good luck and I know you aren't going kookoo.
