The most common way nowadays for gallbladder removal is to use laparoscopic method and while it doesn’t leave big incisions that make big injuries to the tissue and muscles surrounding the gallbladder, it still causes some pain. This kind of pain usually is located in shoulders and upper body and its sharp, almost stabbing pain. No one told me about that when I had surgery and for two days after my procedure I had the worst possible pain all the way from shoulders to stomach. But it stopped after those horrible two days and after that change for the better every day becomes so obvious – you just have to manage through this period. And rest and take it absolutely easy, you had an organ removed, after all – you must give your body a chance to recover.
