Fortunately you will not die from this surgery, I know I have had it done. I don't recommend bunion surgery as it was one of the most painful healing time that I ever experienced - ONLY GET IT DONE IF YOU NEED IT. Now after 2 years I have degeneration happening in my toes that is surgically caused - never had issues before. Also, my foot still aches once in a while and you are only 13. Do you wear proper fitting shoes? Buy more comfortable (instead of fashionable) shoes, you also need proper support in your shoes. Try these before saying 'yes' to surgery - you are very young for it.
