I'm 27 yo female, and have this for almost 7 years. Mine is mostly on my left side but sometimes radiates to the right. It happens when driving or laying in bed. It feels there isn't enough room for my organs or something, a thread put through my left side and being pulled on. It's so hard to describe. It's not super painful but extremely uncomfortable. I had a bad cold in 2009 and may have pulled a muscle or dislocated something but it's given me trouble ever since. I've been to the doctor and been prescribed anti inflammatory pills (they help but it's short lived) been given acid reflux pills and had an X-ray. Nothing has seemed to help and nothing was seen on the X-ray. The feeling of never getting completely comfortable, especially at night while sleeping, is draining. I have noticed the pain is relieved a bit if I lift my left arm? But I can't walk around with my arm in the air?
