There is a fatty bulge on my right side about four times as large as the love handle on my left side. My doctor sent me for a sonogram. The finding was a questionable small defect in the right lateral abdominal wall possibly a small hernia. Consider a CAT scan if bulge increases or begins to cause pain. No change after two weeks. Limiting exercise to a treadmill for now.

Do you sleep more on your right? I've noticed more fat on my right side than my left and it's bcz I've been sleeping more on my right side for the last few years. I used to be a back sleeper but a wreck made me change.

My husband had this on his left side. The specialist said it is a lack of fiber. When he got more fiber the pain and swelling went away within a couple weeks.
