i thought it was an inside pimple and tried popping it and it hurt really bad, so i left it alone. a couple weeks later i noticed it was smaller but not completly gone. after another couple of weeks it started getting bigger (like two finger nails put together) my under wear line bothers it sometimes and it hurts ive never had this before but i really doubt its a pimple or is it? because doesnt inside pimples go away after a while and it doesnt have a head were i can pop it. you can see the bump but isnt red or anything. its my normal skin color. can someone help me:'(

it is a cyst..hot compresses several times a day for about a week and it will develop a head and pop either on its own or with a gentle push... these hurt to the touch because they are blood and pus filled and trapped under enormous pressure. its probably from an ingrown hair or friction from sweating or tight underwear or pants, shaving irritation things of that nature... its not an std so dont worry!!!! u can avoid these by keeping the area dry(baby powder/deoderant/loose breathable clothing) if it gets really bothersome have an ER drain it.. but trust me that hurts more
