Sorry to offend anyone with my question.

I require a THD procedure with mucopexy. My main issue is less the haemorroids and more the slight prolapse of the anal lining which has been there from before I ever had anal sex.

I understand that the mucopexy uses long lasting sutures and creates scar tissue to hold the lining in place.

I would like to have anal sex again someday after the surgery but I am not sure if it will ever be possible. Could any doctor or any one else advise me on whether I will ever be able to have anal sex again?

My worry is the scar tissue might no be very flexible compared to normal anal lining and so anal sex might cause a tear or injury.
