I'm 15 so at school this is bloody embarrassing- especially with the immaturity that goes on, but I'm not surprised considering the symptoms. It started about a year ago and it randomly happened in class when my bowels started making this squeaking noises(almost like a farting sound?) and so that put so much anxiety on me especially when in quiet places such as assembly halls and what not. I started taking these peppermint supplement things which relief gas and bloating (which is the main issue for me) and it did help but not in the long run, when symptoms started getting worse. The strange thing is that sometimes I could go a month without problems and then BAM everyday I'd have issues. I barely get any pains in the abdomen and so I'm not sure. My stools vary all the time, no diaharea) I kept researching for what it could be and all I see is "IBS, no cure" but I'm trying to make sure. I started also taking charcoal tablets in hope that it's just excessive gas but honestly I think it's something more to it. I have to take almost 3 bowel movements when I'm at school and sometimes it could be difficult to pass (IBS-C/D) no idea.. Anyways it's become really annoying as my family is feeling like it's just paranoia. These problems happen so frequently now and I've also noticed that it isn't to do with anxiety as it happens in the morning or when I'm casually at home. I've avoided assemblies with tonnes of excuses, thankfully:) Also I thought it was something to do with bacteria in the stomach so I took probiotics and that helped SO much for the first 3 days and then it's just become worse so I stopped taking it after a week. It's extremely annoying because I tried to target any food triggers and it was really pointless because sometimes one food would flare up the gas and bloating and noises even, and the next day, no results. So what is the issue? I probably ruined my body with all those meds xD Is anyone else suffering the same problems with me? It sucks honestly.
