I think yeah it is possible. i'm currently in the position where my most recent period was only 2 days long very short and heavy and suddenly stopped and last month i had no real period just light spotting of a redish/brownish colour for a few days so i'm worried i could be pregnant.

Actually yes it is. I had unprotected sex a week before my period. still got my period and missed it the next. And I was pregnant :)

Different sounds like you're pregnant and should get checked immediately because your HCG levels (pregnancy hormones) are low. You should get a pregnancy blood test to be sure.
