I'm now on day 5 of a subtext withdrawl. I was taking it for over 3 years, but towards last year was using heroin on top. So I'd take 2mg of subs daily and smoke 1 - 2 bags daily. I stopped the H about 1 month ago and then metered the subs down to 1.4mg daily. 5 days ago I jumped off and went totally sub free. I have been given 5mg values, clonodin and acupan to help, but to be honest I don't see them helping much. The sneezes, the runs, the total lack of appetite, heartburn and constant all-over-body aching...how long should I expect this to last??

hi, just to let you no my story first. was on 18mg subutex. over 20 days came down to 1 0.4mg tab. that was last sunday. started the first subutex free day in 3 years on monday. i had a few things in place, lafexadine, zopaclone, phenagen and stematil. but most importantly the support of my wife(rock). she hasnt ever taken any drug. so i started on monday and lasted till friday. i'd had to take a week sick off work. then on friday a went back to the doc's and got put on 2mg subutex. how are you feeling after 5 days. i wasn t coping at all and the thought of having to go back to work made me crumble. so if your still doing it RESPECT mate.
