Hey guys,I'm 12 and I've relized whenever I wipe after going number 2 there is blood.I know it isn't hemorrhoids because whenever I go doodoo it doesn't hurt.My mom and sister don't belive me because I'm on my period and they think it's because of that.But I keep on trying to tell them I wipe my p.p and there is dark red and then I wipe my butt and there is bright red.I think I might have ripped my anus because I don't feel pain when I poop I feel normal.I would appreciate if some-one answer my question because no-one in my family believes me and says it's your gay ass period.SO HELP!!!!!

I have also had poop in my blood. I am a healthy 24year old female. i went to see my doctor as it was also associated with some abdominal pain in my case (although it was only occassional after i ate). For the most part, i didnt notice it at all. My doc sent me in for a simple bloodtest for H Pylori and it turns out I had an ULCER!! I thought i was too young to worry about that but it turns out ulcers are caused by bacteria and anyone can get them. He put me on a 6 week perscription along with some pepto to reduce my stomache acid and I'm off to a healthier new me. I put it off for months worried they were gonna want to look up in there and it would hurt or something. And to think this could have been over and done with months ago!!

ive had this for the last couple of years but mine is a dark red blood... i eat spicy foods and sh*t so im guessing an ulcer but i dont want any doctors looking at my ass because that makes me feel really uncompfortable... any ideas?

If your grandmother won't take you to the doctor, is there another relative you can talk to about this? You don't necessarily have to tell them what the problem is.
If the blood is bright red, then try cutting down on cheese, and add fiber to what you eat. Fruits and vegetables, you know the drill. Cut down on foods without fiber, like candy, white bread (if you can) crackers, cookies, etc. Cooked dried beans (like baked beans) have a lot of fiber too.
You can also get some stuff called metamusil (sp?), you can get the generic of it. Go to the drugstore and ask the pharmacist for help if you need help finding it. When you take it, follow the directions exactly, only start off with about half of what they tell you and work your way up over a couple of days. Put the stuff in the glass, then put in just a small amount of water and stir it up really well, just like making chocolate milk. Then add the rest of the water, and also drink some more water afterwards. Always drink a lot of water when you take this, and drink a lot of water in general, and stay away from caffeine (colas, mountain dew, some orange sodas, tea, coffee)--they take water out of you.
If the blood is dark red and no one can take you to the doctor, go to your school nurse about it, even tho it may be embarrassing.

It can easily be fixed in the ICU or ER! IF your pooping black your bleeding, you might faint when sitting on the toilet. let someone constantly check you. My dad had this once, he had a small hole in his stomach, now after sugery he's doing better than ever, I was oly 15 or 16 when that happened, quite a few years back. He's got a scar on his stomach now.

I'm male 13 and just bled while taking a dump. The thing is, it just popped out smoothly, but it looked kinda reddish in the toilet. Like a darker red. But last week, i took a dump and when i wiped there was bright red blood on the paper. If I held the paper on my skin, it would sting a little but there would be a minimal amount of blood. It eventually stopped though. But this week when I wiped, no blood was on the paper. Should I be worried?

Hey Guys. Im also having this problem. Im a 14 year old boy. Afew weeks ago, my pooping were fine. Nothing to bad about it. I ussally get this like really once in a while. Its pretty rare for me. Then like 2 weeks ago i started to poop out light coulored blood . I thought it was just a rare time. The next time i did it, it was blood aswell. I kept on doing it for weeks.

I dont know if im losing blood but i recently had a blood test, which my vein broke abit and i had serveral bruises. I also had alot of blood noses recently. But that was due to my hardpicking.
I asked my mum about the blood and she said i wasent healthy enough. I am very very healthy, always eating veges and fruits.
If anyone knows, please help me out, its really scary

Hello I am 20 male and I am studying over the internet to become a doctor in this field and I have the same problem, if your blood is bright red it is either tearing of the anus, hemroids, malnutrition or anal sex. If you have hemroids it is nothing to worry about and it may not, but if you have his problem you should go see your local doctor or atleast tell your parents if you are younger there is nothing to be imbarassed of it is 1 of the most common infection or injury in the world. If you have dark red blood you have to go see the doctor because it may be a stommache infection or internal bleeding and may cause death, that is the internal bleeding you have to be worried about on the stomache infection. If you have abdominal pain you should go see your doctor in the next few days because it could be seriouse... In other words if you have a skin tear it will heal in a weeks time but if it doesn't go see a doctor or atleast call 1 and they will suggest aces ways to help it heal faster. If your doctor says you are not eating healthy you should drfinately eat more fruit and fiber such as cherrio's and bannanas a d lay of the chips and pop, get active and get some good food into you body, mcdonalds and other fast food resturants you should also stay away from I have had mcdonalds and it has cause bleeding for me I have noticed that evry time I eat it I bleed.
