I'm worried that my girlfriend might be pregnant. She takes birth control (Yasminelle) and I always use a condom. However she forgot to take the pill on the 1st day of the cycle, but then took 2 pills the next day, again I always used a condom. However, she then got really sick (had a high fever) and was on antibiotics. During this time we didn't have sex. She was meant to get her period yesterday, but she didn't and she still hasn't today. She said she's having a lot of discharge and some pain in the lower abdomen but no period. I read online that antibiotics and sickness can delay period, but I'm also worried that since she forgot to take the first pill she somehow got pregnant, even though she's been taking the pill for a long time and I used a condom every time we had sex. I know it's only 1 day late, and the sickness and antibiotics could play a part (she also lost like 1.5kgs in the week she was sick), but she's worried because  she usually gets her period on time. Has anyone been through something similar?
