Hi, guys. My friend has been administrated to the hospital since he was diagnosed with pyogenic spine infection. He is under therapy with immunosuppressant since he had kidney transplantation. I would like to know if these two entities are related in any way. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks. Bye!

Hi to you too. Taking immunosuppressant can be one of the risk factors. It weakens your immune system. In this situation, organism is more prone to infections than usual. There are some other conditions that are also associated with weaken immune system. Those would be: AIDS, cancer, diabetes, etc. People with these conditions have also more tendencies to pyogenic spine infection. I hope I’ve answered your question. Good luck! Bye!

I guess this was related to her weaken immune system. I know for other similar conditions where people can be affected by this type of infection. I hope your friend will be all right.
