Hi yeah, dr told mw up to 6mths.had mine removed June. Got period then nothing unit October with spotting 2wks before? Then period in November was on time but so heavy thought I was glued to the toilet. Now tracking with an app' which tells me I'm 30days late.about 3wks ago had sex and boyfriend told me that there was blood and I had a shower and check internally (thinking it was my period)& next day nothing and im still waiting for a period. Hence its been over 6mths. Waiting for genocologist appointment

Hi. I had several Implanons continuously for over 10 years, periods were regular as clock-work, although at times very heavy n lasted weeks on end. Major PMT, emotional, depressed, along with really sore boobs n bad period pains.

Five weeks ago I had Implanon removed (while mid-flow), approx a week later had intercourse with my partner and have had unprotected sex a further 4 times since. But no period whatsoever since removal. I have convinced myself I am pregnant, have had stomach cramps for the last week, and despite always having suffered from PMS, instead of being upset n moody, I have become angry n bad tempered. Plus have been exhausted with zero energy. Have not taken a test as this forum seems to suggest that my symptoms are normal after the implant hormone leaving our system, but hope it's not much longer til things settle down. Baby dust for the couples tcc xxx

I know it's been 8 months since u posted this but if u still get on I am curious to know how long it took u to get back to normal as I am going thru the same thing, it started with the implant in and is still going on and it's been 3 weeks since removal

Wow it feels really good top know I'm not the only one! My implanon ended on the 23 of last Month. I came on my period on the 21 and it ended on the 4th. I experienced minor spotting for the next two days then BAM back on my period by the 8th. I've experienced nausea headaches cramping dizziness and very tired. Me and my boyfriend had sex a week before and after removal. . Wish I wouldn't. Ive been praying I'm not preggo.. any advice??

I haven't yet had mine removed and was deciding whether it's definitely the right thing to do. I think it is am but now a bit worried about the side-effects having found this site.

I suffer from mood swings, have gained weight and my relationship is suffering.

I wish I hadn't it fitted and want to get the copper coil instead, as I don't think I can handle extra hormones.

I suppose it works for some and not other

Just curious if anyone else has experienced this and what happens I guess ha I had the implanton removed on the 8th of March 2015. My last period was the 9th of February 2015... They would go for two weeks when on the implanton (two weeks with a period then two weeks without and so forth). I had it since mid August 2013 ( almost two yrs). But back to the period part. Last was on the 9th of feb 2015. Removed on the 8th of March 2015. Here it is the 21st of April 2015. I have not had spotting I have had craps the since about the 20th of March as if I'm about to get them! But they don't come... I am not pregnant though. Has anyone had this problem? Do they return or is there a case of possibly not having kids in the future or having a harder time having them due to something else... All I have in my head is I won't have children in the future. I went to the doc two weeks before today - (cause I am on the pill and I started it on the 29th of March 2015 and started the sugar pill on the 19th of April 2015) She said it may be an - hormone imbalance - it maybe something to do with cysts on the ovaries - early menopause.. Telling you I don't want any of these!!! Please tell me there is someone out there this has happened to and it all works out to be fine

I guess everyone is different BC I had mine put in April 2012 recently I've have it removed April 16, 2015 ( full 3 yrs) .3-4 months prior to removal my periods came back I guess BC the hormones was running out BT I haven't had my cycle yet.. Trying to gt pregnant any suggestions

Hi I had my implant taken out in the 18th of May I haven't had a period and I had sex aweek after and I still not had a period it been nearly a month since had it out and still not having period?? Can some one help me please xx

I was just wondering how many days before the removal did you have unprotected sex.? I had sex 5 days before removal and am wondering if I could be pregnant because I have been having soar breast and there physical appearance alsoe has changed my areola and nipples have gotten bigger and I also I have noticed a vein on breast leading to my areola ... I have had other symptoms but I don't want to make this to long .. Please reply I'm going crazy thinking about it
