I purchased Subutex instead of suboxone. I dont want to take it the wrong way. How am I supposed to take it? It seems to hard to put under my tongue

You must let it dissolve under your tongue like you would with Suboxone, it is harder, and it taste worst. I take 8mg tabs. of Subutex and it takes so long for them to dissolve, whatever your usual dosage maybe, just break it into a few small crumbs and place under your tongue it will make it dissolve much faster.
